Environmental investigation in the land of the Corals. Students have 2h30 to find the causes of the invasion of the coral reef by a dangerous starfish, and figure out some solutions!

ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS

What is the link between a kilo of sugar and a piece of coral? In small groups, the students will undertake an environmental investigation in the form of three short practical workshops. By putting themselves in the shoes of experienced chemists, biologists and agronomists, they will learn to analyse a complex environmental phenomenon and to debate possible solutions.

The workshop content is in accordance with the regional learning plans.

GENERAL INFORMATION :

  • Duration : 2h30 (1h15 of workshop and 1h15 on the exhibition tour)
  • Number of people : between 15 and 30 (if less than 15 participants, fixed amount of 345 CHF)
  • Age : 12-15 years old
  • Language : English (French, Germand and Italian)
  • Price : 23.-/student
  • Two accompagnying adult included in the price
  • Supplementary adult at 15.-
  • After the activity, you have the opportunity to return freely on the exhibition tour.
