Activities for children
AQUATIS: a unique birthday theme. Young and old alike can enjoy a guided tour and discover the fascinating world of fish, snakes and frogs. Meet 240 different species!
Availability for birthday workshops
- Wednesdays at 1 or 3:30 pm.
- Saturday and Sunday at 10:30 am; 1 pm and 3 pm.
Practical info
- On request, you can reserve tables for snacks for 1 hour after the guided tour (the reservation is free if you take a guided tour).
- Drinks can be bought on site or brought along.
- Please bring your own snacks (including plates, napkins, etc.).
- Flickering candles are not permitted.
Birthday workshop prices
Two options for an unforgettable children's party!
- Option 1: 1-hour visit with a member of our team, CHF 85 plus admission (from age 5).
- Option 2: 1-hour visit and 30 min. of games with a member of our team, CHF 130 plus admission (from age 7).
Admission prices
- Free admission for children celebrating their birthday, plus two adult admissions.
- Children's admission (5-15 years): CHF 15.
- Additional adult admission CHF 27.
You can return to the tour route at your leisure after the activity!

Access and transport
Ideally located just off the freeway, AQUATIS Aquarium-Vivarium is just above a metro station and 10 minutes from Lausanne train station.
By train:
- From Lausanne SBB station, take the underpass and then the metro M2 (direction Croisettes) - Vennes stop. The journey takes around 10 minutes.
By car:
- Freeway A9 - exit n°10 Lausanne-Vennes, take the Route de Berne towards Moudon/Epalinges then follow P+R Vennes.
