Following the streams around the world

A visit on two floors focusing on 10 selected ecosystems; 5 continents, for a total of almost two hundreds species of fish and twenty species of reptiles. The visit ends with a 533 m² tropical greenhouse dedicated to the Amazon forest. A fully immersive and interactive scenography enriches the living collections with virtual representations of animals. Aquatis offers the opportunity to discover freshwater ecosystems across the world. Explore the rivers and ponds along the course of the Rhône, from its source to its estuary, observe the jungles of Africa, Asia or the Amazon, study the emblematic mangroves, marshes and impressive lakes in the world ... And search for the animals that live there to examine their adaptations to extraordinary lifestyles. While you will be amazed by their looks, shapes and colours, our guides will accompany you with fascinating stories about the life of these freshwater animals. And of course, they will be there to answer your questions!
