Open daily from 10 am to 6 pm
(last admission at 5:10 pm)
Late night openings
Every Saturday in December, the aquarium-vivarium is open until 8 pm (last admission at 7 pm):
- Special online rate of CHF 15 from 4 pm (adults, children, and seniors at the same rate).
- On site, the admission price is CHF 17 from 4 pm.
- No evening hours or special rates on Sundays.
For the well-being of the animals, the tropical greenhouse is closed at 6 pm.
Holiday season hours
- December 24 and 31: open until 5 pm – on these dates, take advantage of the Happy Hour rate starting at 4 pm.

Meet our zoo educators every Saturday during evening openings. In addition to answering your questions, they will share fascinating anecdotes and information about the species!
Discover the Alps like never before
Travel through time with an innovative installation that traces the evolution of glacial cover in Switzerland, from the last major glaciation to the near future.
This 3D visualization model, combining digital modeling and artificial intelligence, will be presented at AQUATIS starting December 4, after being exhibited at the World Expo in Osaka, Japan.
Created by scientists from UNIL, this installation offers a unique perspective on the challenges of global warming.
Polar Mission Exhibition - last days!
Explore the environmental, social, and scientific challenges facing the polar regions and the consequences of climate change:

After huge success at the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco, the Polar Mission exhibition is currently on display at AQUATIS.

Energy
- The light tunnel consists of 28,000 LEDs, which create a 14-minute show broadcast in a loop between 6 pm and 9 pm.
- Energy consumption is around 10,000 W, the equivalent of 28 freezers over 1 day, or the energy consumed by an internal combustion engine car over 20 km.
- The LEDs used to reduce consumption have been checked and selected by the technical teams to make the experience as sustainable as possible.
