EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES

Titre à définir

Apart from being a place to be visited, the AQUATIS Aquarium-Vivarium is a constantly evolving universe to be discovered by attending educational workshops with scientific mediators.

These discovery tours will take children and adults on a unique adventure to the magical world of fresh water.

The younger ones will be able to discover the spectacular morphological and behavioural diversity of the fish, which is the result of an adaptation to fascinating living environments. They can explore the links uniting fish, reptiles, amphibians and all living creatures by immersing in the history of life and its evolution by way of entertaining workshops which are adapted to their respective ages.

The family visits will thrill them with a trip across the five continents, discovering the aquatic worlds and unusual creatures inhabiting them. Formulas adapted for children from the age of 6 years old are available in different languages.

The older ones can pretend to be scientists and explore the intimacy of the lifestyles of fish and other freshwater animals, or examine the pollution of their environment and conceive solutions to protect them.

GUIDED TOUR

A guided and interactive tour across two floors which focuses on 10 ecosystems selected from the total of 20 which are present on the site, as well as across the 5 continents, with a total of 10,000 fish and 100 reptiles.

You will also have the opportunity to learn how to apply scientific methods of study and analysis to extend your knowledge of the freshwater ecosystem protection standards.

FRESHWATER ECOSYSTEMS AND THE HUMAN RISK.

An entertaining as well as scientific workshop, between the AQUATIS laboratory and the immersive and interactive visitor´s path. By stepping into the shoes of a scientist, participants will test water samples for pollution and discuss the implementation of environmental measures.
